In 2008, Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center upgraded to digital radiography.  Digital radiography is becoming a normal diagnostic tool in human medicine.  In the veterinary world, digital radiography is a newer method of producing radiographs.  We are proud to become one of the first practices in Bowling Green to offer this state-of-the-art service.

Digital radiography gives us the ability to rapidly take and read x-rays and make necessary adjustments quickly.  The process of taking and developing x-rays has gone from 3-5 minutes down to seconds.  This is ideal in an emergency when time is of the essence.

The use of digital radiography also helps the environment.  Previously, with standard radiography, many chemicals were used to develop the film.  The chemicals are eliminated with digital radiography.
