From spaying and neutering to more complicated orthopedic procedures, SVMC has the knowledge, equipment, and experience to provide your pet with a safe surgical procedure.  Your pet will be monitored while under anesthesia with a pulse oximeter.  This machine measures the amount of oxygen in the blood and counts the pulse.  Any changes are quickly in pulse rate or oxygen level are noted by the technician and changes in amount of anesthetic gases are altered if necessary.
